Quick Update: Getting Ready For Autumn

t has been a long bunch of whiles since I have posted anything on this blog. My intentions are to post regularly. The last couple years have been filled with all sorts of changes in my personal life, in my body, in my business constructs, and in the world.
Anywayz… I am planning to post more blog entries, pics and videos. Here are some recent photos of me modeling Maroon Lucky Love (TM) Knee-High Marled Multi-color Boot Socks. An admirer used my Amazon Wish List and sent these to me earlier in the year. I alwayz claim I will model the socks admirers send, but due to the last couple years, the time just wasn’t available. I hope to start modeling them more.
I tried to capture the mood and color of the beginning of Autumn, as Autumn is my favorite season of the year and is often the time when awesome new adventures begin for me. I have lots of opportunity ahead of me and I am so desiring to dip my toes in and get myself ready to dive in all the way.

Inside My Head

ountless hours I must spend with various thoughts roiling, masterfully filling each millisecond of time (throughout my days, weeks, months and years) of ideas in sock styles, types of thread, current trends and so desiring to leave my mark in sock fashion before I leave this lifetime. At times I wind myself so tight with scrutiny that I nullify any aspirations and leave myself a disinterested bulk of human pity upon my cozy bed. I always blame my finances when it comes to an excuse of why I have not acheived my goals, in the same way I blame the absence of valuable and adequate time when it comes to my writing. However, there is an underlying vibration of determination that never allows me pause. A heart beating. Thoughts unrelenting. A desire to attain my dreams. And, in this moment, at this point, whatever millisecond that is just, I am always acheiving. Even if just inside my head.

Happy New Year!

Wishing you success in all your new endeavors in this new year.

Merry Christmas

This is pretty much how my Christmas decorating routine goes.

Making Your Feet Strong

wrote an article awhile back called “How To Exercise Feet Arches”, geared toward strengthening the arches of your feet. During the research of the article, I began putting the exercises to work. Sometimes my feet would cramp painfully. I never knew I could speak such foul language as the cramping left me almost paralyzed and scared to move. I would not give up, believing my feet were just too weak and out of shape. Since then, I can now point my toes without cramping and my arches are strong. I still believe in the suggestions in my article, and it is definitely a more intimate experience when a friend helps. Have a read of the article and try out the exercises. And, don’t give up.

Opinion: Thumbs Up For Socks With High-Heeled Shoes

d24c2a32ea29d1debbd1caa2de0beb14According to magazines, fashion forums and social media groups, there is a strong debate about wearing socks with high-heeled shoes. In my opinion, because I have always had a deep love for socks and an aversion to cold toes (being native to the freezing Winter temperatures of Michigan), wearing socks with high-heels is more a personal decision. I believe that you wear what feels good and looks good to you. Since we do not see socks with high-heels as “common place”, when we do see it on the fashion runways or even in the office it brings up opinion. If the mass of the “herd” or even the media says it is ugly, then it feels scary to announce you like it. 9db918d4271b28e18b1c782ccf0c7be4The way I see it. If it keeps your feet warm, then wear it. If you think it makes you look or feel sexy, wear it! Who cares! It is 2016. Thousands of years of fashion statements, trends and opinion have passed and more will arrive. Just be yourself now and wear whatever style or combinations of clothing you desire to wear. Life is short, so have fun with it. Confidence is sexy.
